On Friday, September 12th, members from the Yorktown Chapter CPOA participated in our regularly scheduled Highway clean up. Approximately twenty Chiefs from Training Center Yorktown filled 15 bags of litter from along the George Washington HWY, between Goosley Road and the Coleman Bridge, in an effort to keep Yorktown’s highways clean.

The new Enlisted Association Colonial Branch officers were sworn in this Wednesday, July 30, 2014 by the Yorktown Chapter CPOA President EMCS Bill Johnson.

The swearing-in location was in the National Lighthouse Museum in Canfield Hall at Training Center Yorktown.

Members of the Yorktown Chapter along with other members from Training Center Yorktown, helped to place flags on all the grave sites at the Yorktown National Cemetery for the Memorial Day weekend.

Following their swearing in, the Yorktown Chapter welcomed CPO Sam Pollard and CPO Kim McLean to their respective positions of Secretary and Treasurer. CPO Pollard replaces CPO Travis Sanders who was appointed Vice President with the departure of SCPO Steve Pacheco. CPO McLean replaces CPO Jennifer Rehberg who will soon be joining the retired ranks!
